Submariner Hulk, 116610LV

With a cult like following the all Green submariner has proved a hit since it's launch in 2010, with the nickname Hulk quickly coined. The first time Rolex had made a Submariner with a coloured dial to match the bezel, reference 116610LV - Lunette Vert - Green bezel, previously there had been the green bezelled but black dial 16610LV Kermit in 2003.

In 2008 we saw the first of the ceramic Submariners and in 2010 the Hulk was introduced, being the first to combine a coloured ceramic bezel, coloured dial and the maxi case. Despite it not being a hit it right away the criticism soon faded and it has become a tremendous success. During it's decade long production cycle not much changed with the Hulk, minor dial changes to the text, and how the re-hault was etched along with some colour variation in the dial. After 10 years in production, 2020 saw the Hulk discontinued, causing prices to spike and remain elevated, good condition sets with complete provenance have become harder to find, as the finite supply only decreases.

Our 2019 116610LV is supplied in excellent condition with light wear. The watch is offered as a complete set with a 2019 dated warranty card, green tag, booklets, and original Rolex box.
