If one model was ever synonymous with the Patek Philippe brand history it would be the Calatrava 96 reference. Born in 1932 under the new stewardship of the stern family, the brief was simple, manual wind, svelte design and understated. The Calatrava model line became the blueprint for what a dress watch should be.
Reborn in 2004 and in classic ‘96’ form, flat bezel, sharp dial aesthetics, manual wind, thin profile, the 5196 was available in white gold (G) yellow Gold (J) and rose gold (R), it remained one of the most popular members of the Calatrava line up until 2022 when it was discontinued.
Our 5196G is offered as a full set with 2022 dated paperwork which makes it one of the last examples produced before it was discontinued. Supplied in very good condition with only small signs of wear and supplied with 2 official Patek Philippe straps, bookpack and authentic wooden Patek box.
