The Story
Launched in 1997, the original aquanaut range was designed to represent casual chic, the first ever Patek Philippe to sport a rubber strap and has been popular ever since. In 2018 Patek launched the first chronograph complication aquanaut with the launch of the 5968A in steel, famous for its orange strap and having a larger profile than previous Aquanauts (42mm).Ā
In 2021, Patek Philippe released theĀ 5968G (white gold) offered in both blue and green, fashioned in 18 carat white gold with the references 5968G-010 (green) and 5968G-001 (blue). Powered by the CH 28-520 in house movement, visible through the exhibition case back, the 18 carat gold rotor powers a reserve of circa 50 hours, secured with a deployment clasp in white gold.
OurĀ 2022 - 5968G-001 is in very good condition, offered as a complete set with warranty paperwork, book pack and original Patek Box. Furthermore,Ā it is presented with a large cutĀ blue strap.
